Beckie and I have our wedding anniversary in April. In 2018 we visited Campos de Jordão to face the freezing weather, to enjoy the local cuisine, to eat some chocolates and of course: to shoot great images! Below are some I made during our stay (which some of them also be downloaded at Unsplash or Pexels).
We stayed at Hotel Shallom, which is well located for exploring any part of Campos. Another great thing was the breakfast!
Without any shadow of doubt, Morro do Elefante was extremely nostalgic to visit. I remember visiting Campos when I was just a kid, but I didn't want to go on the cable car and I stayed at the bottom of the hill with my grandmother. My grandfather, father, mother, brother and aunt took a picture with the elephant on the top. I did not. I kind of regreat this decision today, but it's okay. Haha
And I thank my wife for the encouragement (I would have passed this opportunity up again if you ask me! I do not enjoy great heights that much).
If you are looking for a place to photograph, visit Campos! We haven't seen it all and there's a lot more to explore, like the Parque Amantikir. And if I was only allowed to recommend one place: go see Museu Casa da Xilogravura.
That is all! Thanks for reading. See you next time!
